Allium Sphaerocephalon (Drumstick Allium)
- Crowded heads of purple-crimson drumsticks, fine for cutting. The flowers open green, then start to turn purple from the top, creating unusual two-tone flower heads
- Their attractive curled green leaves will wither before the flowers appear in early summer so we recommend accompanying them with low-growing perennials to provide filling foliage over the base areas
- Plant in autumn or spring. They will readily naturalise over the years
- Plant 10cm deep, 10cm apart in free draining soil
- Flowering Height: 60cm
