Robin Hood - Autumn or Spring Planting Broad Beans - 35 Seeds
Best for containers!
- A hardy variety that can be overwintered from October producing crops a whole month earlier than spring-sown varieties. It can also be sown in early spring for a summer crop.
- Pods are short with 5 beans each but are very uniform and abundant when picked regularly.
- Sow direct 5cm deep and 10cm apart into well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Protect from mice and slugs. If growing over winter, cover plants with a cloche during the very worst weather to prevent damage.
- No need to support Robin Hood as its short habit only grows to around 35cm tall so is ideal for growing in a pot.
